big eyes

my eyes are much to big for my creative ability..

i made another trip to JoAnn's before I even started making my bag! I am getting side tracked soo easily. however, i have not taken off the headband that I made a few days ago yet! I absolutely love it! still no picture though, sorry! I need to find the camera first haha

Today I spent my day painting outside. For the non-chicago-ans this has been the nicest day of summer yet! So what better to do? I put my macbook nearby in the shade and had it play music, laid a towel out and started painting! sooo nice, until I got some heat blisters.. gross. I finished my painting though! i dont really like it.. there was too much empty space on it so I kept going when I really shouldnt have.. my day tomorrow will be spent fixing it, but inside not outside haha

Starting

So it is my first blog.. i started this idea when I thought of doing a summer project. I went out and bought 5 different kinds of fabric to make a summer bag/tote out of. I quickly realized.. sewing? the last time i did that was about 5 years ago in home ec.. haha so I googled how to make a bag and found this really cool blog that inspired me to make this blog! I also found a cool pattern to make a head band and made that! (I'll post a picture of it tomorrow.. when its not almost 2 in the morning and i figure out how to upload a picture to this)

For now.. i hope that this blog will help keep me on track with my summer creative projects!
